A gorgeous glitter flake with a chameleon iridescent effect. Apply it over different gel polish colours to create a unique looking manicure! Nail flakes give a whole new dimension to the simplest nail design in just a few seconds.

High quality Kohana Flakes Effect can be used with nail polish, gel, acrylic or polygel.

Common Mistakes and how to fix them? 

The Flake Effect will not stick to the surface?

- The inhibition layer (sticky layer) of the chosen UV Gel Polish Colour was too light or the colour was cured too long.

The Flake Effect starts to peel or roll during the application?

- The layer of the effect was applied too thick.

The effect looks irregular on the nail?

- The layer of the effect was applied too thin

The Flake Effect rubs off the free edge?

- The nail edges were not protected correctly with a Top Coat

The Flake Effect peels off in flakes.

- Either the Base or Gel Polish Colour coat wasn't cured enough.

 

 

Application

1. Apply the Flake Effect on the cured layer of any UV Gel Polish Colour with an applicator, small brush or your finger.
2. Remove excess dust using a soft brush.
3. Apply a UV Top Coat on the entire nail, making sure that the free edge of the nail is well protected and cure (30-60 sec in an LED Lamp)
4. When cured, wipe off the nails surface using a Cleaner Go! 3 if needed.
Flake Effect Application (Encapsulated)
1. Apply the Flake Effect on the cured layer of any UV Gel Polish Colour with an applicator, small brush or your finger.
2. Apply layer of gel, acrylic or polygel to encapsulate the flake effect.
3. File the nail into shape and apply Super Gloss Top Coat
