Cleaning & Care Tips!
How to clean my brush?
The nail art brushes are made of delicate synthetic hair and it is important to know how to clean them properly to maintain the hair structure and get the most out of your brush.
To clean the brush after gel based products:
- use any clear base or top coat such as Pro Base or Super Gloss Top Coat
- place a blob of the base or top coat on a dust free wipe
- wipe the brush hair through the product in a gentle circular motion on the pad
- gently wipe off the excess gel to taper the hair back together to the desired shape
- always store the brush with the hair facing downwards, especially after cleaning
- always store the brush with the cap on to prevent hair damage and product curing on the bristles. (If this happens the brush is invalid and cannot be rescued).
To clean the brush after acrylic based products:
- clean your brush using fresh, clean, liquid acrylic monomer.
- dip your brush into the clean liquid acrylic monomer and tap off the excess.
- gently taper the brush hair bristles back into the desired shape with a paper towel using your fingers.
- store the brush facing DOWNWARDS, (with the bristles pointed down towards the floor). This is to prevent any excess liquid from dripping back into where the brush hairs are attached in the hand piece of the brush, as this may cause fallout.
To clean the brush after watercolour/eyebrow treatments:
- clean the brush with lukewarm clean water.
- pat the brush dry using a clean paper towel and taper the brush hairs into the desired shape using your fingers.
