Beginner Eyelash Extensions in the Classic 1:1 Technique.
This Eyelash Extensions course is suitable for anyone with an interest in beauty, especially the amazing world of eyes.
No previous experience or training is required, simply bring yourself, your model and plenty of enthusiasm, and you will have a great day!
This course will get you started in the world of eyelash extensions and take you wherever you wish to go.
Starting yourself in the right way is very important, and with the basic technique and application, this Classic 1:1 Eyelash Extension Course will open the doors for you, and should you wish to proceed with the next step and complete the next course = Volume Eyelash Extension Course, you will have the proper training requirements and certificates behind you to do just that, without question!!
This beginner course will teach you the fundamentals of Basic Eyelash Extensions in the classical lash technique, with all the health and safety involved to keep you and your clients safe.
You will leave this course with all the necessary knowledge and skills, to go and practice until you feel confident to take on the world of lashes.
The course participant will receive a recognised Kohana Certificate, by Beauty Vision Ltd. upon successful completion of the course, which is ABT accredited.
During this course you will cover:
- Eyelash styling history
- Hair structure and growth patterns
- Eyelash hair function around the eyes
- Eyelash 'anatomy’ and characteristics
- Terms connected with eyelash styling
- Health and safety in the salon/home environment
- Contraindications to performing the treatment
- Factors affecting the application process
- Factors affecting longevity and wear of the treatment
- Analysis of eye and face shape for the treatment results
- Products necessary for the treatment
- Preparing the working space before treatment and during treatment
- Different styles, patterns and shapes of the treatment
- Correct and safe glue use and application
- Common mistakes/problem solving
- Full demonstration
- Practical work and practice
- Aftercare
Please Note:
* A model is required for this course and it is the students responsibility to organise this themselves.
* Models must be over the age of 16 years old.
* Models should be someone who can sit and lay down for a long period of time, (without back pain/issues).
* Models are usually required from 1pm - 3pm, but subject to change.
*Models must be someone who doesn't suffer from skin disorders or sensitive skin issues. A patch test is recommended.
*Models are required to come with no eye makeup on, no lash lift treatments in place, no tint and have eyelashes thoroughly cleaned.
* The course educator will be in touch via text message the evening before, on the number provided upon booking the course, to inform and confirm the course start time, details of any changes and what time the model is required from if any changes should occur.

Age Restrictions:
Courses are suitable for those aged 16 or over, unless otherwise stated.
Course Schedule:
All courses are subject to demand. In the unlikely event that a course or workshop does not obtain the necessary numbers in order to initially run, applicants will receive a full refund or the opportunity to change their application to the next time that course runs.
In the rare event that a course structure must be changed or amended, students will be given notice. The training centre reserves the right to change course dates, times and duration at its own discretion and where it feels necessary.
Equipment:
A product kit is included with this course. This is the students own personal product kit to use freely during the course and take home with them to use after. The number of treatments that can be expected from this kit is entirely up to the students' use and control of the product, and the type of clients that they may have, (large/small eyes).
No extra tools or products are necessary to bring on the day, everything will be supplied.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel a course booking, you must do so no later than 10 days before the course start date, otherwise the deposit payment can not be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled less than 10 days before the course date. This is also the case for any “no-show” attendances. It is the students responsibility to remember their course dates and times and reply within the given time if something has changed for them.
Deposit Payment:
A deposit payment of 50% is required upon booking to secure placings.
The outstanding amount is due on the day of the course.

Applicants have the option to pay the course fees in full or secure their place with a deposit payment and pay the balance on the course date in store. Payment can be made via cash or card. (We do not accept personal cheques). We accept grants and funding from social welfare authorities and are happy to help you with this. Attending a course at the Beauty Vision Training Centre:
Having booked a course you will receive an invoice as an email to confirm your chosen course and date. This is your course confirmation and booking secured.
You will be contacted a day prior to your course start date via text message with a reminder for the day and time to attend, and if any necessary products/equipment are required for you to bring. Deposits are non-refundable/transferable in the event of a no-show without proper notice within the appropriate time as mentioned above.
