Course Description:
Are you looking to learn all about the most amazing natural treatment for eyebrows? Do you want to upskill or refresh old techniques? Are you thinking of learning a new skill and offering an amazing treatment for clients, whether at home or in a salon?
Then this is the course for you!
This Henna Eyebrow course is suitable for anyone with a keen interest in beauty. No previous experience or training is required, simply bring yourself, your model and plenty of enthusiasm and you will have a great day!
This course will teach you the fundamentals of the Henna Brow treatment with all the health and safety involved to keep you and your clients safe. You will leave this course with all the necessary knowledge and skill to go and practice until you feel confident to take on the world of lashes.
The course participant will receive a recognised Kohana Certificate, by Beauty Vision Ltd. upon successful completion of the course, which is ABT accredited.
During this course you will cover:
- Hair structure and growth patterns
- Hair function around the eyes
- Henna treatment ‘do’s & don’ts’
- Health and safety in the salon/home environment
- Contraindications to performing the treatment
- Products necessary for the treatment
- Chemical Henna vs Herbal Henna
- The three different consistencies of Henna
- Allergy/patch tests
- PH scale
- ‘Ombre’ and ‘Powder’ brows
- Brow mapping and planning procedure
- Step-by-step treatment process
- 3 ways of applying the Henna
- Timing for the different treatments
- Common mistakes/problem solving
- Aftercare
* A model is required for this course and it is the students responsibility to organise this themselves.
* Models must be over the age of 16 years old.
* Models should be someone who can sit and lay down for a long period of time, (without back pain/issues).
* Models are usually required from 1pm - 3pm, but subject to change.
*Models must be someone who doesn't suffer from skin disorders or sensitive skin issues. A patch test is recommended.
*Models are required to come with no eye makeup on and have eyelashes and eyebrows thoroughly cleaned.
* The course educator will be in touch via text message the evening before, on the number provided upon booking the course, to inform and confirm the course start time, details of any changes and what time the model is required from if any changes should occur.

Courses are suitable for those aged 16 or over, unless otherwise stated.
Course Schedule:
All courses are subject to demand. In the unlikely event that a course or workshop does not obtain the necessary number in order to initially run, applicants will receive a full refund or the opportunity to change their application to the next time that course runs.
In the rare event that a course structure must be changed or amended, students will be given adequate notice. The training centre reserves the right to change course dates, times and duration at its own discretion and where it feels necessary.
Equipment:
A product kit is included with this course. This is the students own personal product kit to use freely during the course and take home with them. The number of treatments that can be expected from this kit is entirely up to the students' use and control of the product, and the type of clients that they may have, (large/small eyes).
No extra tools or products are necessary to bring on the day.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel a course booking, you must do so no later than 10 days before the course start date, otherwise the deposit payment can not be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled less than 10 days before the course date. This is also the case for any “no-show” attendances. It is the students responsibility to remember their course dates and times and reply within the given time if something has changed for them.
Deposit Payment:
A deposit payment of 50% is required upon booking to secure placings.
The outstanding amount is due on the day of the course.

Attending a course at the Kohana Professional Training Centre:
Having booked a course you will be sent an email to confirm your chosen course and date.
You will be contacted a day prior to your course via text message with a reminder for the day and times to attend, and if any necessary products/equipment are required for you to bring. Deposits are non-refundable/transferable in the event of a no-show without proper notice within the appropriate time as mentioned above.
