Course Description:

This is one of our most popular and unique courses available. This basic level technical training is suitable for anyone who wishes to start their adventure with nails, or refresh their knowledge of years gone by - whether in a professional setting or simply to create wonderful nails for yourself and others at home. This course teaches you the basics in everything to do with providing a flawless gel polish treatment and takes you right up to date with current technical trends and requirements.

Get the latest tips and tricks for creating perfect nails that last.

Not only will you learn all about nails and flawless gel polish application, you will also be able to take away not just one, but TWO Certificates, both of which are ABT accredited, which means you are fully certified, insurable and ready to start your nail journey immediately!

This basic level technical training is suitable for anyone who wishes to start their adventure with nails, whether in a professional setting or simply to create wonderful nails for yourself and others at home.

Our professional and experienced instructors will teach you about the anatomy of the natural nail, the gel polished finished nail and demonstrate a brilliant gel polish application. They will also go through in great detail all of the products, tools and accessories required to perform a truly great gel polish manicure. This course will provide you with the necessary knowledge regarding skin and nail diseases or disorders, to help protect you and others and know when it is safe to perform a gel polish treatment.

The group course is held with controlled numbers, to allow appropriate interaction between the educator and student, so as to ensure proper time is allocated to each student and cater for their individual learning needs. We wish to provide real ‘hands-on’ learning experiences to everyone, and treat each student with respect and importance, with no barriers or prejudice. Each aspect of the gel polish treatment will be explained in detail. The theoretical part of the course will be explained first - we recommend each student take notes and write information down as it is explained, so that they can refer to this knowledge later in the course and again at home if they need to recall anything. After the theory section of the course, there will be a demonstration. Again it is strongly advised students take note of the steps and process of what-to-do, as after the demonstration ends they will begin working on the treatment themselves on their own hands. Our educators will be there walking around constantly to help any student that requires further assistance and to aid each student on their learning journey. Educators will be there to guide, assist and answer any questions students may have.

Students will receive recognised Kohana Professional Certificates, by Beauty Vision Ltd. upon successful completion of the course. The certificates are ABT accredited. (Students must pass in all areas of the course, including theoretical and practical work, to receive their certificate).
